Current: Re-elected to the 10th National Parliament for the Chuave Open seat as a People's National Congress Party Candidate in the 2017 General Elections, 2nd term in this Parliament.
Past: First elected to the 9th National Parliament for the Chuave Open Electorate seat in the 2012 General Elections as a Triumph Heritage Empowerment Party candidate. Appointed Vice Minister for Mining from August 2012, served as Minister for Commerce and Industry following the formation of O'Neil-Abel Cabinet on the 02/08/2017 to June 2019, then as Minister for Commerce & Industry in the Marape-Steven Government on 07/06/19-07/11/19, then as Minister for Environment, Conservation and Climate Change under the Marape-Basil following a cabinet reshuffle on 8/11/19-13/04/2022. Joined the PANGU Pati sometime in 2021 then resigned in early April 2022.
Primary Education: Completed his Primary Education from Bawi Primary School,
Secondary Education: Completed hi Secondary Education from Port Moresby Secondary School in 1974
Tertiary Education: Completed his Tertiary Education from the University of Papua New Guinea in 1985
Achievements: Holds a Bachelors of Science in Geology from the University of Papua New Guinea.

Last Occupation Prior to Elections: Managing Director of Mori Resources (2009-2012)-providing Consultancy Services to the Dept. of Works on Road Corridor Mapping
