Current: Re-elected to the 10th National Parliament for the Alotau Open electorate in the 2017 General Elections as a PNC Candidate. Currently affiliated with Our Development Party as the Party Leader, Chairman of the Special Committee on Gender Based Violence, 3rd term in this Parliament.

Secondary Education: Completed Secondary Education at Immanuel Lutheran College, Maroochydore, Queensland
Tertiary Education: Completed Tertiary Education from University of Queensland (class of 1989)

Achievements: Obtained a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Queensland (class of 1989). He is an Accountant by profession.
Last Occupation Prior to Elections: Financial controller with Global Constructions, Ipili Porgera Investments and businessman in Milne Bay prior to 2007 Elections.
