Current: Member of Parliament for Daulo Open, Chairman of Economic Affairs Permanent Committee, Member of Law and Order Permanent Committee, Deputy Chairman of Minerals and Energy Referral Committee.

Past: First elected to 6th National Parliament for Daulo Open seat in the 1997 General Elections. Appointed Vice Minister for Finance following the formation of the Skate government in July 1997 till December 1997, then Vice Minister for Overseas Development Assistance from December 1997 till May 1998. Disqualified from parliament and by-election ordered by the National court on 7/5/98, but reinstated by Supreme Court on 5/10/98. Appointed Minister for Fisheries following the formation of the Morauta government on the 26/07/1999.Re-elected to the 9th National Parliament for the for the same seat in the 2012 General Elections. Appointed Economic Affairs Committee-Chair and member of Law and Order Committee in August 2012.
