Current: Re-elected to the 11th National Parliament in the 2022 National General Election for the Yangoru- Saussia Open seat as a People's First party candidate. Party Leader of the People's First party. Appointed as Minister for International Trade and Investment on 24/08/2022 following the formation of the Marape-Rosso cabinet, 3rd term in this Parliament.
Tertiary Education: Completed tertiary education at University of Technology, Lae, 1983, then further studies at University of Bath, UK, 1999
Achievements: Holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Bath, UK, in 1999, a Bachelor in Technology in Business Studies from the University of Technology in Lae in 1983 and awarded "Top Graduating Student in Monetary Economics" prize. Awarded OBE in 2011 for services to development banking and rural development, and an active member of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific.
Last Occupation Prior to Elections: Managing Director of the NDB from 2004-2011 until resignation to contest the 2012 National General Elections
