Tertiary Education: Completed tertiary education at University of Papua New Guinea,1987

Achievements: Attended UPNG from 1982 to 1986 graduating with a Bachelor of Accountancy and Commerce Degree. Returned to UPNG in 1986 to complete Honours Degree in Accountancy in 1988 after a year practicing as an accountant. As a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), he was elected president of the PNG Institute of Certified Practicing Accountants (PNG CPA) in 1990. Served as company director for various companies and statutory institutions including Executive Chairman of the PNG Banking Corporation, Rural Development Bank, Motor Vehicle Insurance Trust and Pacific MMI Insurance prior to entering national politics in 2002.
