Current: Re-elected to the 11th National Parliament in the 2022 National General Election for the Abau Open seat as a Our Development party candidate. Appointed Deputy Chairman of the Special Parliament Committee on 2022 General Election and Ombudsmen Committee under the Marape-Rosso cabinet, 5th term in this Parliament.

Secondary Education: Completed secondary education at Iarowari High School, 1970, Central Province
Tertiary Education: Completed tertiary education at University of Papua New Guinea, 1976, then in Melbourne and Sydney in Australia in 1985

Achievements: Holds a Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Medical Faculty University of Papua New Guinea in 1976, then Masters degree in Medicine in Melbourne and in Sydney in 1985. He made an Honorary Fellow of the Australian College of Health Services Executive in 2000 and also awarded the CMG in 2000 and Knighthood in October 2009.
